Hey there, I’m Joy!

Back in 2014, when I was 19 years old, I went to the Philippines and Thailand on a mission trip. I was honored to experiencing living and eating with locals while serving the community. Our team was able to serve at an orphanage, run youth camps, pray with families, play with children, help build water filters, partner with an organization rescuing women and children out of human trafficking, assist in feeding programs, and so much more.

At 19 years old, my life was forever changed.

A picture is worth a thousand words and if people could see what was happening around our world, maybe those images could move their hearts to action.

Since then, I have traveled to multiple Nations alongside other organizations, with the shared purpose of loving, serving, and blessing others in the name of Jesus. Through photography, I’m able to capture moments and share stories while simultaneously blessing organizations with content they use to continue raising awareness. One of my life goals is to create and cultivate environments where other people, especially women, feel seen, known, and loved - both locally and globally.

I believe that we are all better in community and apart from God, I know that much of who I am today is due to the encouragement, support, love, and grace I’ve received from those in my life.

Thank you for joining the journey!

With love,
Joy
